My Background

As a research librarian with diverse experience across educational and public library settings, I bring specialized expertise in social sciences research, instructional design, and collection development.

In my current role at Miami University, I serve as the liaison to the Departments of Educational Leadership and Educational Psychology, where I guide undergraduate and graduate students in doing education and policy research. As a team member of an evidence synthesis service working group, I provide hands-on support to students and faculty who are undergoing literature reviews, scoping reviews, and systematic reviews.

Beyond my daily responsibilities, I actively contribute to the profession through conference presentations, scholarly publications, and leadership roles where I have served on the Academic Library Association of Ohio's Conference Planning Committee and as Chair of the Mentorship Committee and Board Members at Large. I also currently serve as Chair on the Information Literacy Best Practices Committee that provides guidance to information literacy programs nationwide.
